SOLID Raises Over $25K for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle TN



SOLID RAISES OVER $25,000 FOR BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE AT FIRST CHARITY EVENT OF 15TH YEAR DONATIONS DOUBLED FROM LAST YEAR'S BOWLING SHOWDOWN

DONATIONS DOUBLED FROM LAST YEAR'S BOWLING SHOWDOWN

Nashville, TN (March 30, 2012) – SOLID (Society of Leaders in Development) held their first charity event of the year Thursday night and raised an impressive $25,134 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee, which more than doubled the donation from 2011 Twenty six Music Row companies participated in the Bowling Showdown, including SESAC, WME, CMT, APA, and CAA.
“It was a bigger event than we imagined,” says Meredith Herberg-Waldron, SOLID Community Outreach co-chair. “We are thrilled with the results and grateful to all the Music Row companies that stepped it up to make it our biggest bowling event ever.”

McGhee Entertainment’s team collectively raised the most money, $3,881,and was followed closely behind by CAA’s Bowling Belles, who took home the award for the “Best Dressed” team. CMT’s “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Gutter” won the best team name.
